[link]Based off of the TMNT 2003 Season 1 episode 17: The Shredder Strikes Back when Leonardo gets mercilessly singled out by the foot. There's a lot of that show I haven't even touched, so bewarned, more like this on the way.

Oh god I hated that episode.
Leo gets absolutely destroyed both physically and spiritually.
I about diiiied when his katanas snapped in half.
Just sat there, a sobbing Leo fangirl with nothing left to live for..
Then he was okay
And everything was wonderful
This is amazing

It was in the early comic when Leonardo was out patrolling and he got ambushed by all the foot soldiers - later they through him through the window and attacked April's apartment. The first movie switched it up and had it be Raphael who was attacked, but in the comic it was Leo out on his own.

I started to like tmnt after watching the 2003 season. Think their design look way more badass then the original 1987 season.
