I think I was better in the past (when I didn't have a tablet), but now I'm too used to my tablet that I cannot draw with a mouse! Plus, a mouse has no pressure points, so you cannot vary your lines or your coloring.
To keep things short: if you want to draw in the computer, buy yourself a tablet, even if it's a cheap one.

haha i have a question about the tablet, isnt it hard to use? i mean, i don understand how u can draw on the tablet, but only see you drawing on the computer screen. it seems like it would be hard to know where to place the lines XP. i want to geta tablet, but i dont want to waste my money, sooo, yeah, you are very good with the tablet

Right now I use Wacom Cintiq 12wx, which is a tablet with a screen, so you actually see where you're drawing like a piece of paper. Drawing with any other tablet would be hard for me, but some people don't find it hard at all, like *kaoru-chan , so I guess it depends on one's skills ;;;

Completely agree but I won't be getting a tablet until next x-mas and that is a long ways off... so I will have to make do with drawing, scanning, and then going over it in SAI paint tool.

That's a good question. I know in my case I can't properly draw or ink on the computer if I don't have a tablet with screen, that's why I purchased Cintiq.
