Painted this for the header of Tomb Raider fansite fellow raider lady was setting up. You can check it out here !

I actually wanted to record a painting process for this, but couldn't be bothered figuring out which recording software won't destroy my brain. This is so stunning, i honestly lost my breath when i saw this, i actually almost cried because it had felt like i met up with an old friend who i hadn't seen in many years. In many ways Lara is a best friend to me, it feels like i haven't seen her in such a long time, not that i dont play the classics all the time, i play them at least once a week, but its like i haven't seen her in such a long time and there haven't been any new adventures with this iteration of Lara and i honestly miss her greatly. i hope we'll see some new adventures with classic Lara again, but i do believe we'll see her again at least some day.
Anyway love this, one of my favorites, very inspiring your progression.

Oh, look at that glorious classic Croft! The boxy backpack, the shiny top, the round-rimmed glasses... You captured her yet again! It's hard to tell, but it looks like you have the reflection of distant pyramids in her sunglasses. Or maybe the horizon? Anyway, it looks awesome!

the glasses the classic tank and the backpack
total respect, so refreshing to see this, the "new" lara croft just doesn't have the same feel, at least to me
