Oh God, this one was a real pain in the a… Well, you know. Just remind me never again make renders in such big resolution and with so many layers (there must be no less than hundred O.o). Some filters worked really slooooow, and to make it all even more fun when the filter was finally applied I suddenly decided that I don’t like this filter and must try a different one Well, no more complains, I have some things to say about the render itself.

Muspelheim (Flame Land) - in Norse mythology is one of the Nine Worlds (Asgard- Vanaheimr – Jotunheim - Midgard – Muspelheim – Niflheim – Svartalfheim – Helheim). It is the realm of fire and home of the Fire Demons. The gate to this world is guarded by Giant Surtr. I originally planned to name it “Helheim” but that would have been a great mistake of mine. The creators of TRU were absolutely right picturing Helheim as dark and foggy place. According to Eddas it looks exactly like that. Just to my mind from all the Nine Worlds choosing exactly Niflheim and Helheim and putting them one after the other wasn’t very good idea. I don’t know how about you, but these both seemed nearly identical to me – dark place, cold stone and crowds of thralls. Choosing some other World with different landscapes and enemies would have been much more interesting. Well, it’s just my opinion. The only thing that disappointed me greatly while I was making this research on Norse Mythology is the number of different mystical creatures I’ve ran across. They could be totally amazing bosses and as you remember there’s no a single boss fight in TRU.
