Older photo of mine.It was borderless and I added a border. Then I removed the border. Then I added a border. Then I removed the border. Can you feel the frustration? lol None of them looked right but it feels like it needs a border..gah...
Gerbera daisy, very little color enhancing but a some shadow darkening.
Beautiful flower none the less.

lol. I seem to hve a talent (or curse) for getting the perfect black backgrounds in my flower pictures. There was minimal work done to clean up the background.

Striking shot. The color is of course brilliant and I love the way it is set in the frame. The title is also perfect... the contrast with the black really makes the petals jump out. well done.

I really like this one... it's monotone, but in real color, which is very hard to ger usually. it reminds me of some color pics that i took using a black and white red filter. Very dramatic

well, this is certainly different from the run of the mill "let's take a shot of a flower in broad day light coz its purdy." i'm really diggin the high drama you got going with the cast light. rather than a border, perhaps more negative space would help.
