This moonstone has a fiery bolt through the middle of it! I wrapped the stone in gold filled wire and gave it an elegant sweep. (Remember the sweep from this piece ?) I tried to leave the stone face uncovered, as I usually do, to show off as much of the stone's beauty as possible. Very good work. I used to help my now-deceased spouse make silver and turquoise jewelry from rings to bracelets, though it was so long ago, we never made pendants. I guess they weren't popular then. I do know so many made that type of jewelry where we lived then - Whenever I went to visit others, pre-passenger screenings (and pre-seatbelts, for that matter) I often sold many pieces for higher prices right there on the plane. I sold whatever I wore and whatever I had in my bag. Hope yours sell as well. Will be back to check out your shop. Best of luck with all. This is a

As you can tell, I make mostly pendants, and a few earring pairs. Bracelets use more metal than my customers want to pay for (and silver is $22/oz now!), and earrings are more repetition than I want to work on. There is a way to wire-wrap rings (like [link] ), but I haven't learned how yet. Some day
I've been able to sell some pieces online or at craft shows, but I have no airport sales yet. I'm not even sure they would allow wire on a plane anymore.

I very much doubt they would, especially as much metal as I used to wear and carry on planes!
It would trip alarms everywhere and I'd be left selling the work to airport security these days...
My daughter does Plains-style beadwork, just like her Grandma used to make.
