A Vardøger is a thing sort of like a doppleganger in that it is a double of your self. However, there is a key difference with a Vardøger. The Vardøger has a person’s exact appearance and overall demeanor, but instead of killing their double acts as a sort of preceding spirit, often visiting a location and making people believe the person has been there already. Sort of like a reverse deja vu.
