After:[link] , this is the second of the three Wise Wind Perfect Forms.

It's the Guardian. It has traits from bison, boar, bear, armadillo and porcupine. Those animals have in common their toughness, stuborness and courage when defending their territories/families, and share higly defensive traits.

Dermal bone covers most of the body as an armour, both exposed and embeded under his skin. Combined with the razor sharp, hard quills it's as perfect a defense as it can get.

His main weaponry is the horns and tusks used for crushing, goring charges. The massive hoff-like claws on the front legs can deliver devastating swipes, the same for the bone covered tail.
In addition, he can throw a barrage of the stake-like quills at the enemy in almost every direction. Real porcupines can't do that, but Wise Wind managed it by tinkering with the genotypes and training.

As it may seem obvious from the description, wounds that would send other Xenobionta right into their human forms in the brink of death won't stop this form, due to the natural protection or even only his bull-headed determination.
