Final version is here: [link]
Does anyone know how I can swap a new video in here? it doesn't give me the option of editing that.

this was a while ago, but I believe 24 frames per second on "2's"

well.. according to the math... 96, but that seems too high to me... haha! it's not brutal if you draw a few frames every morning which is all I had time to do. you just have to have patience and a positive attitude!

run at 24 but double up... expose each drawing for two frames. then it's technically 12 frames/second but it looks better running at 24. that's how most studios do it. And if you have a part that needs extra detail, you can do that part "on ones"
Hope that helps.

then actually only did 12 drawings per second but expounded them twice each and in the most detailed part you actually use the 24 drawings right?

When he's bringing up his hand to his face, he looks at his finger before rubbing his eye, and if you bring your hand up to your face to rub your eyes your eyes close about a tenth of a second before your hand hits your face. The rubbing of the eye and the recovery and look off into the distance is awesome. This is a really nice piece of animation

hey inneryoung, nice job. looks pretty good so far, but it looks like itcould use a little more break up in the hair. hmm... to give you an idea of what i'm talking about--the hair shouldn't exactly move on its own unless its wind / air current or if the head moves... so it'd be secondary movement since the head is primary. if that makes any sense hopefully that helps. good luck!

It seems like a very fluid and graceful animation to me.
