Awesome! You're very beautiful! Great effect! Might I suggest a whiter blue-ish reflection where the white light reflects on your shoulder and face...Other than that, very pretty picture. Great job!

I have no idea how I would be able to create that without an edit unfortunately. And I don't like to edit my photos all that much. You see, the blue light and the flash are set off at completely different times over a 30 second period. The flash takes the initial picture of the model, then the 30 second shutter captures the light paint.
Thanks for the comment though! appreciated.

hmm, without editing. My best suggestion would be: Instead of using a white light source just use the light source colored the same as the light paint. So instead of a lamp or whatever you're using to create light in an otherwise dark room, just make that light a different color, partially or mostly opaque, colored film would be the best bet. It just might make the effect more 3 dimensional and dynamic. Just a friendly suggestion.

It's an off board flash. But I suppose I could put something blue over it.
Thanks x

Oh man this is so pretty. This whole light paint thing is really interesting, both visually and technically. I wouldn't even know the first part in how to make something like this.

Your photos are always neat to look at :>

Wow thanks! Much appreciated. It's a lot of fun. I'm thinking of doing a tutorial soon, once I get a little better at it. :3
