Even if I am in this solitude, what you would call loneliness…

Emotions can’t touch me.
Which is good,
I can’t be hurt.
Not again…
sure, I can’t be happy,
or …anything for that matter.
All I can do is just Be.
and I’m fine that way,
this way I don’t need you,
I don’t need anyone.
I just am
and always will be…
