Description Okay, so perhaps this is inviting a slightly unfair comparison, but
A. It has its roots in truth
and B. I NEVER GET TIRED OF WHINY!CLARK GODDAMNIT.

By no means was Clark always in a bad mood in his journal entries (between MUSQUETORS and getting wet, though, I keep drawing him in one XD); however, if he was, he's the one who tended to express it. Lewis, not so muchβ€”which, given how melancholy he was reputed to be, seems a bit surprising. But Lewis waxed more philosophical and intellectual in his passages (and spelling aside, he wrote beautifully), and quantity, more than quality, indicated his frame of mind. Clark, on the other hand, didn't seem inclined to hold back his bitching.

Omgosh this made me laugh soooo hard! I had to share it with my dad, since we both share a passion for history. X3 I have never really put this together until you've whipped this up! I totally love the expressions of both Clark AND Lewis. XDD Lewis looks so, ho-hum content and in the zone while Clark is just obviously not happy at all. 8B Hahahahahaha I love it! XD

I love your Lewis and Clark drawings I myself have always been a big fan of the pair since elementary school and I've never seen anyone else express an equal appreciation.

It's funny 'cause it's true.

I'd have to reread that part of the journals to be sure, but I think Clark was still fairly happy with trekking through the wilderness when they were in the Fort Mandan period. Hardly any bitchy Clark as far as I can remember. Later on he was just done with all the rain and mosquitoes and he probably just wanted to go home. Tragically for him, that's the part of his journals which is the most entertaining for us. That journal was in all probability his only outlet, because he had to show composure towards the rest of the outfit. How would he have looked back then as he was updating his journal? Furiously scribbling about his tormentors, almost overflowing with rage? Or with a kind of 'nuff said attitude? If only we had a TARDIS.

This is awesome. So, so awesome. Your L and C cartoons just get funnier and funnier, I swear...

And Clark still looks like Cave Johnson. Just sayin'. The resemblance is awesome.
