Seriously, though, Rango is a bizarrely awesome film. Or awesomely bizarre? Whatever. Go check it out.

I wouldn't say that... it's not a phobia for me. There's a lot of planning and stress involved, and I wold sooner start our life-long ourney together on a happy, stress free, first step.
So if I could choose, I'd say a small wedding, merely taking care of the formalities of nuptual contracts. Then maybe having a more open ended celebration of it, rather than having so much planning and so many people counted upon. You know, cos if the caterers get a flat tyre, there'll be no cake. If the pretty wedding dress gets a stain the day is ruined for her. If the groom is lost in Vegas from the stag night there's no-one for her to marry anyway. Too much can go wrong.
My only fear is that it will go wrong.
And if my artner doesn't have a special day she'll never forgive me.
And that just sets a bad tone for all years to come.
I dunno if I would want that.
Keep it simple.
As long as there is love, close friends and family present on the day; cake, and matching plates, and a band and all the hoo-hah is just added decoration. It's nice, but unneccessarry.

Funny thing is, you are naming the cliche wedding, something that neither of us could have in a million years. XD I would be happy to get married like my parents did, no wedding, they went to the court house, then had a big party back at their house. That was it. XD

More to the point, her mother's a minister, so already the bar is set high.
If the church didn't have a part in the ceremony I dunno if her mom would honor it as a sanctimonious marriage under the eyes of God.
As far as I'm aware Amy would at least like the reception there, cos she has fond memories of playing in the Gardens surrounding it.
And that's fine too.
I would expect a suitable venue for the reception to be booked.
But things like a band and a cake should not be paramount.
But it's not my wedding... it's what Amy wants.
Fortunately alot of people in Amy's family are flour intollerant, so that means cake isn't a priority.
I want a basic wedding, fun and simple. And I want Amy to not have to deal with any worry. It's not about the money it's about how we can minimise the error margin. Cos I have terrible luck when it comes to these things.

It's a wedding. Unfortunately, weddings are like your life together. There are going to be stressful moments, all you can do is hold on to each other, and get through it. Honestly, I think, a wedding is like the test. If you can get through it together without murdering each other, you deserve to be married. I wouldn't stress yourself out on things that aren't here yet.

Rolling Stones did a Review over the movie and said it was a really bad movie, but I disagree. Rango was one of the best movies EVER created. My favorite character was Rattlesnake Jake. xD
