Hey-o! I was testing out some pencil brushes today and I thought I'd play with some character designs. This is not Raven from UNWANTED (or even how he would appear if he wasn't possessing Jean-Baptiste
), but a character from one of my quieter side projects...but still pretty much Raven (or at least a raven spirit; it's all rather fuzzy at this point). Definitely pulling a bit from the mythsβpushing his beak up on his forehead like a mask allows him to become human, so I drew a literal mask. 
There's a lot more to flesh out and more research on clothing to be done before I can call this a final or successful design, but this was mostly just a small exercise and an excuse to try out the pencil brush~ c:

Where did you get your style from. It is quite interesting. Always liked the Inuit style clothes. Awesome work.

Looks decidedly pencily, which is a success in my book. Characters must be just falling out of your ears at this point.

Before I make any meaningful commentary I have to tell you that I glanced at the title of this very quickly and thought it said "Tupaq" instead of "Tulugaq" and had to do a double-take.
BUT BEYOND THAT WHOA NELLY. I adore these brushes they look rad as hell, and I ADORE THIS DESIGN DANGARANG. I just love his smile, it's so charming and disarming you can tell he's gonna get up to some major mischief when he's lowered your defenses. And I'm a sucker for noses like his. I can't wait to see where his design goes from here!

I love the look of that brush. Makes me want to grab some printer paper and a pencil and go wild.
