Portrait of my sister Ruth. 13/01/2007.Made in the style detailed in ~doompatrol 's vector tutorial. Also after getting tips from ยขlemontea 's excellent vector tute. Completely vectored in Photoshop 7.0.

wow! great improvement, methinks. I like the combination of the flat black and white hat the more detailed face. And Ruth's expression is wonderful.

I did it all over the course of Saturday ... probably about 4 hours all up. I scoured dA for some tutorials and I'm very happy with the resulting improvements. Plus it was a great photo to work from. I've got another one in the works, so here's hoping it lives up to the hype. Heh. Thanks for the comment!
