a mixed media piece i made using floral fabric, photograph, latex, wallpaper & oil paints.its meant to give a kinda quaint look based on early work i did on the subject of re-work.

I am currently at Coventry school of art & design (Coventry university) I did foundation studies there too, I was about 18 when I did the foundation work & work in that folder. not quite as prestigious as st.martins, but I say its more about the individual than the place you study

Hi, I've been looking at some of your work, your ideas and use of many different mediums is really interesting and very creative - i love your 'out there' kind of style! Is this album work from when you were doing foundation studies at uni? because your standard and style of art resembles that of a Central Saint Martins student (the uni I want to apply to in london!) how old were you when you did all this?

Lovely. I've been thinking of doing collages for a while, and this has given me some ideas . . . I went to a fabric store yesterday and bought some stuff for about $4.50 a pound, which seemed like an awesome price to me. Although I don't really know, since I haven't purchased much fabric. (My sister's the one into making quilts . . . all that work just seems insane to me . . .)

quilting is very boring!! i would never do that, id die of boredum.
i dont buy the fabris i use, most is recycled fabrics from the textiles room at my uni or fabric my mother doesnt use anymore, so i dont know about the prices of fabrics, especially in dollars.

I'd die of boredom too. I watch them sew while I draw and I wonder how they can stand it! And I'd recycle a lot of Mom's old fabric too, except that they're not really patterns I'd care to use.
