Girl with gasmask.A5 etching amd aquatint on hand made paper. the gas mask isnt as clear as I wanted, but it was my first attempt at aquatint. I think it needs more work doing to it, perhaps making the bottom part of the gasmask black.

I absolutely love this, the textures that come with etching are really nice.
By the way, what is aquatint?

Aquatint is an etching process. coating the metal with this powery resin stuff that u heat up and let dry (lol all mt my technical terms 
Areas u want to be a shade of grey get exposed to the acid for a certain about of time. the longer the time the darker the grey. for large areas of black u use aquatint too, because etching such a large area the ink will not stay in that big a space. - sorry if that wasnt very clear, im only just getting to grips with the process myself
