My characters for the St. Bellamonte, Jin (Jinhai) on the left and Ren (Renshu) on the right.Jin
Age: 20
Info: Personal mechanic of the St. Bellamonte family and younger brother of Jin, the right hand man of the group. He created and programmed Hael, Kovu's android twin brother.
Ren
Age: 25
Info: Right hand man of the St. Bellamonte family. Nobody really knows what he does exactly but as far as anyone is concerned, he's not someone you want as an enemy. He is generally a friendly person, however, just not to Kovu.
Note:
Lmao. I realize there is a lot left to be desired in this drawing but I'm not going to be particularly torn about this picture. I mostly drew and coloured it as a make shift reference in terms of how they look and their colour scheme. I'll do something more serious in the near future

I use a lot of layers when I colour, just as a note. First layer is for base colours and I start a new layer to do the shading. The tool I use for shading is the watercolour on sai, but water 9 works too, then I take a slightly darker shade (but not too dark)and make them a bit bolder. Make a new layer, take a lighter shade (maybe your base colour) and for some of the parts you've shaded (not necessarily all of them) lightly colour the inner part with the watercolour tool. If it isn't smooth enough, you can use the blur tool but I doubt you'll need to. Make a layer in between your base and your shading layers and add highlights. Then the top layer should be the lighter outlines.
I hope this was easy enough to understand, I'm pretty bad at explaining things ahaha orz.
