This is such a great concept! I see the clockworks as Snape's time running out, ticking away second by second towards his inevitable death...

Love the concepts of cogs, time and shiny.... is shiny a concept? ANYWAYS. Either way, love the way this works together. Looks like a really nice composition. Shows Snape's character through nicely, in my opinion.

Thank you! With clockwork I connect the image of Snape. As a clock he has well-organized intellect and he can stop the time in his mind.
But at the same time he just a man and 15 minutes can play a huge role in his life as a normal person..

I do get where you're coming with the terms of clockwork. It also makes me randomly wonder... why do we put such an emphasis on the specific 15 minutes, rather than a larger or smaller quantity? A mere moment in time, as small as a few seconds can make such a huge impact on our lives... But we always say 15 minutes of fame, a 15 minute long death scene, etc. etc. Interesting concept I ponder...
And I swear Snape has cursed my 'a' key or something, it keeps STICKING. Everytime I comment on a Snape-something a new key sticks. Last time it was the 'e' key. >>
