This was apart of my Mask/Big Head sketch dump that I made to pay homage to the thing that started The Mask franchise (insaneasylum123.deviantart.com… . I wanted to draw some artworks from the comic series because you really don't see much stuff on the Dark Horse comic series these days. I drew up the original green voodoo wooden mask talking to its new owner (or victim) into putting it on and letting it take over just as it did to Stanley Ipkiss, Kathy, and even Lobo himself (Yes, the Lobo the galactic bounty hunter from DC Comics, who was also featured in the Lobo/Mask crossover years ago). The true origins of the mask itself is unknown but the comics hint that it was created using voodoo magic by a lost tribe located in the deepest darkest parts of the jungles in Africa.
