Most people are. In my case, I can't even attempt to draw a reasonably good drawing without a reference of some sort.

AGH..cap'n jack...Pirates of the caribbian is awsome I cant wate to see the new movie I was so sad when cap n jack got ate...aww.....:tearful: This drawing is way asome and it captures cap n jack so well... Impressive work there. i am surprised you can do it with H pencils. argh, does that mean 9H pencils are darker than some of the B's?!? i am sooo confused now

My 9H pencil actually draws very lightly and doesn't smear very well. I use it for drawing my basic shapes and guides, which I erase later. Then I use softer pencils like my 2B and 2H for the details, although lately, I've been drawing exclusively with a #2 mechanical pencil.

ok ok i love Johnny Depp and i love him when he played Capt'n Jack Sparrow and you have just captured his comedic side and him literally in that picture. It is a great work of art and i have added it to my favourites. You are a great artist and hav every reason to be proud of your work.
