I wake upWith a start…you know
That feeling when you wake up.
Put on my shoes, and walk into the kitchen
Through the door in my closet.
Under the table,
My place is set…
Guava juice and lard.
I look out the window,
As is my tradition every morning
And see that the sun in setting.
I must have overslept.
I can still make the evening classes.
So I leap
