Yeah, but I've been unemployed for four months and I'm bored senseless while trying to get career help from one of the local colleges. Honestly, talking with you and similarly fun artists keeps my depression in check. Seriously, never underestimate how small acts of kindness can keep people going. Whenever you do something nice for someone, remember this: a good laugh can be the difference between life and death for some people.

Thanks. I'm working on a self-help book revolving around the human approach to anger. I'm looking for opinions. Can you give me one argument or pro and con for embracing anger and one each for controlling it?

Bored senseless. I'm taking an online course so I can apply for a job working for a nonprofit my mom used to volunteer at and run and that I've written for in the past. I used to have a multiple personality disorder, so time passes a lot slower for me now than it used to. How do people contend with the boredom? Other than that, I'm working on my novel, a self-help book that my therapist is reviewing as I write it, and I've been practicing my swordsmanship in between marathon playing Breath of the Wild while binging Lucifer. Saw my therapist yesterday. Her dogs are the cutest pit bulls ever! They're really good with her younger clients and just cuddle with them during sessions.

I've even been gardening for my folks.

I've been doing pretty well. I'm even teaching my mom kendo. She was a dancer when she was young, so she's been coaching me in swordsmanship since my freshman year of college. Combat fundamentals are more my thing, but she's good at directing movements and she helped me develop my swordsmanship style.

How are you coping?

What games? I've been binging Breath of the Wild like crazy. Just completed 1/4 of my nonprofit essentials curriculum. I'll start the next quarter later this afternoon. At least the weather in central Arizona is nice. We've gotten much more rain this year than usual. I even leave my shades behind most of the time lately. I plan on kayaking with my friend once the quarantine is lifted and the river is made accessible.

Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy VII (The original and the remake tho I finished the original and just started the remake), a bit of Final Fantasy III, Fire Emblem Three Houses... Actually I think that's about it in the last couple of weeks, I've been in a real big Final Fantasy mood and it's sucked up a lot of my time. xD I want to work on playing Breath of the Wild tho because I've had it for a while and made very little progress in it and I'm having a bit of a Zelda itch.

Oh congrats!

Well that's good! I hope you two have a lot of fun!

Breath of the Wild is a non-stop completionist's dream/nightmare. The Champion's Tunic is something you'll want to get ASAP, but it is a bitch to complete the quest to get it and then upgrade it fully. It's the best armor in the game and allows you to see the health in number form of your enemies. Also, Molduga in the desert are easier to kill on the ground than from the mini-mesas around them. Lots of dynamite arrows. Never enough of them. And the Master Cycle Zero DLC is worth it. Game guides are necessary since it's a very non-linear game.

Thanks for the tips! Eh, I'm just sorta playing it, I'm not too worried about being linear. Part of the fun sometimes is messing something up when you don't have instructions. xD

Until I found more places for digging for gems, I used bombs to clear forests to sell the wood for money. That, and because I just get a kick out of blowing things up. I never really went through a pyro phase as a kid, except for the time that I lit one of my bullies' crotches on fire in ninth grade. And I only did that because my friend's sister suggested it after they tried to drown me in a snow melt. Never piss off a guy's 13 year-old ginger guardian angel.

If you could add one feature to BOTW, what would it be? It's pretty much a perfect game based on its type, console, and execution. I'd personally make it possible to save on stealth missions. I'm more of a smash and bash guy.

xD I feel that blowing up things sentiment. Oh dear.

Probably the ability to interact more with certain things. I absolutely love it when you can do some really silly mundane things, like pet and pick up animals, sit in chairs, lie in beds. Stuff like that, it makes me feel like I can live in and interact with the world. Although actually I don't remember if BOTW lets you do that stuff. I haven't played it very much. xD

Yeah, let's just say that some of the scout leaders became very vindictive towards my bullies after awhile.

I'd love to make it so you could customize multiple vehicles like the Master Cycle Zero. I want a wolf version like they planned. Or possibly to pilot mini versions of the divine beasts. I love elephants, which is a big reason I want that.

It's a nice place overall. It's half-mile from the base of the mountain. In one part of the park, there's a spot where you get an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains and fields where you can't see anything man-made. It was my little spot away from civilization in college.

It was rough to live there, but that park was where I went to get away from folks. I could swing my sword, listen to music, cry if I needed to, or even just throw around fallen trees if I really needed to break something. I even once got struck by lightning in that park.

Dreams can be nice. They are cruel gods. Some achieve their dreams as if it were as easy as breathing. Other martyr themselves and receive nothing. It's just like with poison. Just enough can alleviate pain, but anything beyond the right dose will kill you, while too little will do nothing.

Hmm, true! That's why it's important to take care of yourself and find contendedness where you're at here an now. Doesn't mean you can't try climbing, but even success in dreams doesn't equal eternal happiness.
