K so I wanted to practice some semirealism so I used some of my favorite characters in order to practice! It was fun, it was also fun trying to find good ways to make them standalone cutoff pictures without it looking weird.
Also can I just say that I love how Izuku turned out? xD

The cherry blossoms around Shiro's head are cool. Nice touch. I always felt however, that Shiro looked a little young in your pictures. Are you meaning to do that?

Um It's not really intentional, I'm just trying to make him look like he does in the show/around his stated age, he's probably about 26 or 27 and that's still younger. I also don't have the best grasp on how to make characters look in a specific age range, so yeah, he may be looking a little on the young side.

Love Yang's look! She's got a certain softness to her expression that looks completely genuine. I think it's because you depicted her without heavy cosmetics, making her seem far more natural and approachable.
Shiro is extremely well done! You really nailed it with his eyes. They convey the overwhelming experiences he's endured in the story, but still manage to show his inner kindness and humanity.
Yang and Shiro are two of my favorite animated characters, and you pulled them off perfectly!

Honestly I haven't really ever worn makeup, so sometimes I forget it exists even, xD so I don't even know how it'd go with drawing it. Lipstick might be fine...

Sorry for the delay, but I just wanted to say this: I enjoy putting up honest and positive commentary when I see art that strikes my eyes and touches my heart. Your art is a gift. The least I can do is tell the creator how it positively touches the heart of an audience member. Never stop creating. It is one of the most fundamentally human aspects of who you are. Your own innocence and strength shows through your depiction of these characters. Your strength of character peers at the audience through your art.

Yang in particular reminds me of dreams I would have as a child of my ideal mate: someone with a look that would warm up a room; a certain timelessness that gives off the feel of golden fire that reminds me of autumn light bursting through the yellow leaves.
