Hmm. It didn't occur to me before, but without his hat, he kind of looks like Snape from Harry Potter. But I think D is more handsome than Snape. Just a thought.

Thank you! Well, straight hair is easier to draw, I find that curly hair tends to make anyone look like Michael Jackson, not quite as cool.

I like this very much, I think that this captures D's physical appearance and personality very well.
By the way, he sort of Resembles Alucard from Hellsing, is that intentional?

i'm really dissappointed with the anime's D, The author of the novels describes him as a guy who'd make even other mens hearts quicken.

oh yeah ^__^ to be fair i've only seen pictures of the animation.
i'm sure i'd love it, but it's like that when you read the book first.. nothing ever quite lives up to the book
