I liked Artemis when she had the title, wish she had a longer run. Love the get away from me look she has.

I think if they had done this today Artemis would have kept the role a bit longer. But I'm sure the plan was always to have her have a tragic end. As far as all the other replacements (Flash, Green Lantern, Superman) she got the best story

She lasted about a year. During the whole replace the hero phase DC went through. But seemed to me that unlike some of the others her story had a definitive end in mind when they ran the story line
