Again, great work here. Out of curiosity, what program are you using to color your work? The line art is a little splotchy. It almost looks like your are scanning inked line art rather than inking in Photoshop with the pen tool.

I use Photshop to color...but I ink in the real world.

I see. I thought as much. That explains why there is some fading splotches in the line art. It's hard to get really crisp black lines without doing it in Photoshop.

Never thought about doing it that was. I just figure it would be hard to follow the lines as well on screen

Its easy to do with the pen tool using Bezier Curves to create a path over your pencils. Then you apply a stroke with any size brush (I use a 5 pixel brush). With it you can get perfectly straight lines. Here is pretty cool tutorial that show you how to use it: [link]
However if you don't have one already, the best thing to have is a Wacom tablet or even a tablet PC. Even a cheap Bamboo will worj or you might want an Intuos.
I actually went out and bought a Cintiq 12WX for doing my line art. Being able to draw directly on screen is extremely helpful as it feels really close to natural media. The only problem is the hefty price tag that ranges between $700-2200. That is why I also mention the tablet PC too as I bought a cheap one when I first got into digital art for $300 and was able to draw on screen too. It doesn't have pressure sensitivity though, which was why I ended up buying the Cintiq. There was an older 15" Cintiq model though that you might find on ebay for about $400.

I do own a Wacom tablet......but never used Bezier Curves as I don't even know what that is. I'm kinda self taught with PS

Check out that link in my previous message. It talks about how to use the pen tool.
To use the pen tool, first set your brush to a hard brush with 5 pixels and select black as your color. Press P on your keyboard to start the pen tool.
Then find a place on your line art from where you want to draw a straight line and left click with the mouse and it should make a dot then click to where the line ends and walla, you have a straight line. Then right click with the mouse and you will get a menu and select stroke path and there you have perfect straight line.
Now to make a curve, find a point on your art where there is a curve and then find the end point and right click and keep holding the button down and pull away from where you clicked and you should see a weird "T" appear with two dots on either side. These are handles that you can use to adjust the curve. The further you pull with the handle, the more a curve is applied to the line. Use "Ctrl" and click on one of the handles to adjust the slope of the curve. Apply a stroke and you made a curve.
To break the curve, so that you can make a new curve or a straight line Press "Alt" at the end point of the curve and simply click. Now you can make another curve or whatever you need.
That's about it. It's really easy. It just takes a few tries to get use to it. Just remember, CTRL and Alt are the only commands you really need.
One more thing, you can also get rid of a point anywhere on a path by hovering over it and a minus sign will appear next to the pen icon, click it and the point disappears!

The link sadly is no good...but I will have to see if my pen tool does this. I usually use the brush.

Word. By the way, are you separating your line art from your colors by using a separate "layer" for the color? If not, let me know and I will show you how it works.

You always want to keep your line art on a separate layer from your colors. I always keep my sketch on the bottom layer before background, inks on the first layer, and colors below inks. Having a separate layer for shadows and highlights is helpful too.

My crappy explanation should suffice then. If not, hit up YouTube and search for "inking photoshop pen tool". There are tons of stuff there. That was how I learned to use it.

Very cute, Inspector. I plan on doing a pic of her in her 80's New Mutants outfit sometime.

No, though that outfit was cute too. I was thinking along the lines of her civilian gear, a look that was kind of a cross between Cyndi Lauper and Madonna.
