They do indeed. They are in fact wearing armor. No one has seen an Ice Warrior without it on. But we do know they are reptiles.

True and it would be nice to see them. But I think I'd like to see Zygons, Rutans and Dominators return as well.

Haven't heard that. Last I heard they were planning to do two episode blocks. One in spring and one in fall.
