Excellent.Β I used to watch the RoboTech series but could never find any of the toy vehicles where I lived back when the show was originally aired.

Mot many remember this but there was an American off-shoot animated series from the early 1990's called, "EXO-SQUAD", that abandoned the original Japanese animation in favor of an attempt to make it all animated under American direction.Β There were some toys for EXO-SQUAD and they were really just repackages of older RobotTech toys from MATCHBOX, but with a focus on new characters.Β The idea was that EXO-SQUAD was loosely based on Macross set about 25 years after the Macross saga.Β It was very loosely based on the previous material but close enough that Harmony Gold got sued by the original studios and Japanese owners for plagiarism.Β The lawsuit was so bad that it delayed other RoboTech materials such as new animated series and novels and toys from being released sooner world-wide.

Cool.Β They had an alien they referred to as a Neosapien.Β An evolved human being who could be from the far future maybe.Β His species was what humans would allegedly evolve into if humanity survived fighting with others and with each other.Β Like 100,000 into the future.
