Just recently came across this one. Β Lovely. Β Absolutely, lovely.
I never much cared for Filmation's cheap animation or uninspired art style and it certainly didn't do justice to any of the original characters much less the character of M'ress, but this more than makes up for it. Β I think you've realized the character far better than anyone has yet. Β
This shows M'Ress as sexy and sultry, but her posture and expression reveals that she is more than just a pretty cat person as it speaks to her strong character and exceptional intelligence that resides behind the pretty face. Β Brilliant.Β

I do not actually come under the catagory of Furry, more like Sci-Fi Convention/halloween costuming/makeup. Just with cats in mind.

I didn't figure you did. I'm a fan of the idea of the Caitian race and the Lyrans and Kzinti. I'm a big fan of TOS. Not so much the newer ones. It seemed to start to go down hill and pushed me away with the silly relationship stories. Plus you figure with the budget these new shows had we would have seen Andorians or Caitians or something sooner. Alas they waited their butts off and then put the andorian antenna on the forehead.....star trek....always with the forehead.
Though the Tholians were realized ok...the Gorn however...blik.

To bad Enterprise did not last. There were plans to introduce the Kzinti (script writen, CG vessels made) in its fifth season. From there it would have been a short jump to getting Caitians into the Cannon Star Trek Universe.

Maybe. But Enterprise had cut its own throat well before that could be realized. And considering what the Gorn looked like maybe that"s better.
