Unable to settle their dispute over the ownership of a cherry cheesecake slice they found, the girls decided on a more civilized form of combat, CHESS.
As the commanders of each side, they decided to dress the part as they hope to direct their forces to victory.

I suppose that could happen with the girls distracted by their game.
It really was really quite a thrilling match, with the fairy pieces on both sides in very elaborate costumes. Although like the first 5 rounds, it too ended in stalemate. Still, it was quite thoughtful of them to provide me with dessert while watching the match.

That was the whole point of their conflict. Having "found" the unprotected cheesecake at the same time, they decided on a more civilized way of setteling the disputed ownership, rather than risk destroying it in their battle.
