Great work! I wish Mocking Bird would join the Avengers in the films, I liked her in the EMH cartoon, she kicked ass & looked good while doing so, such a great costume :3

Bobby really does have one of those classic costumes from the 70's and you do a mighty fine job drawing it in EMH's style.Β But I have to be honest and say I really like her the white/black outfit she's sporting her new book.Β Great comic, especially in the second issue where Bobby dresses like a dominatrix to infiltrate the UK branch of the Hellfire Club.Β I didn't think Marvel had it in them to put sexual stuff in their comics anymore.Β Remember how they reacted to that cover of Jessica Drew's Spider-Woman?

Her new costume obviously makes more scence practically... but I miss the second skin nature of heroines costumes and the 70s flare in "some" characters designs

Jessica's new costume is obviously inspired by the new Batgirl and while it works for her since Barbara's (now) a hip young college student; it just doesn't work for Spider-Woman.Β She has real impressive powers: Flight, venom blasts, and wall crawling and doing that in brightly colored everyday clothes just doesn't scream super-hero for me.Β Plus, Jessica Drew is a sexual heroine.Β One of her powers is pheromones that make enemy males attracted to her which she uses to her advantage in a fight so it would make since for her to want a skin-tight costume to help with the seduction.
Honestly, I just couldn't believe all the uproar about that cover.Β It actually made the news on CNN!Β A comic cover made the evening news!Β Maybe it's because I read a lot of comics in the 90s where there was very sexual art (hello Gen13!) but I am stunned how people reacted to this.Β Personally, I have a theory that it was all done by Disney to sabotage the character so as to convince Sony not to give her a movie.Β It's just a theory I have.

Well I don't have a problem with sexuality in a comic heroine. After all I'll never be a handsome as Bruce Wayne or ripped like Superman...so who is setting unrealistic goals for boys.... oh that's right it's about that for girls.... boys are fine

I've never been bothered by a heroine with big boobs or a revealing costume; but there have been writers that have ruined great female characters.Β Black Canary, an utter bad-ass butt kicking babe, was written to be so whiny & sniveling in Cry for Justice where she broke up the JLA because her boyfriend Green Arrow left her to fight crime globally or with how Starfire was written in Red Hood & the Outlaws.
I've noticed the Big Two have started thinking lately that all they need to do with their heroines is cover them up and everything is just fine and hunky dory and that couldn't be further from the truth.
