Funny thing. I was just going for four unique teenagers, but when I actually saw The Breakfast Club, it went on to influence the characters, but dont worry. My characters here are not carbon cutouts of Bender, Andrew, Claire and Brian. (Didn't have room for a basket case.)

I know, hehe. And that's what I keep thinking. I think at this point it shouldn't be as much about "what kind of new unique powers I should give to my guy?" but rather "how can i make my guy's character unique?"I wanted to originally call them "Children of The Element," (because of Children of The Atom) but I liked Natural Disasters better.

Thanks. I'm not exactly sure as to how I'm going to introduce them in these outfits. At first they're just going to start discovering their abilities little by little and I have something in mind for Jack who takes on a local drug empire. He'll be the first out of the bunch to do something superhero related with his powers while the rest are just kinda seeing what they can do from exploring and learning.

Sounds like an ideal time to wear masks when evil drug lords are involved... who better to hide your identity from, thus protecting your family and loved ones?  (I assume they have family and loved ones).

Yup. And some dysfunction included. But at first Jack kinda just gets a cheep getup from a department store in the same fashion that Matt Murdock does in the Netflix Daredevil series. I think I might consider publishing my stories as serialized shorts or maybe even a book if I'm not able to find an artist. Being hopeful though.
