Always my favorite femme fatale from Batman Beyond! Great rendition!

I like Inque a lot because she is relatively original as far as Batman villains are concerned.

I like her because she is unlike any other Bat villain.....and that makes her unique enough not to be compared to other Bat-verse characters.

I really enjoyed that series because it had complex characters like Inque and 10. Sure, they're knockouts like most female villains in the series, but Inque has such a vicious side to her and a really unique set of skills and powers that other villains in Batman just don't have. I'd wager she always has an umbrella close by in case of rain, though

Very true....the only thing Batman Beyond did wrong in my opinion was hook up Bruce and Babs.

Yeah, that was a bit odd, especially since there's like a 20 year age disparity (I think) and Barbara is supposed to end up in a wheelchair and becomes Oracle. Although, that may not have been written into the storyline yet when Batman Beyond came out. I don't know the comics well enough, sadly.

In the comics she had been wheelchair bound since the 80s. Besides I just don't see her being attracted to Bruce...Grayson sure...but not dour old Bruce.

Bruce is too severe and, like you said, dour at his core. He's a man fueled by revenge and justice and anger. He may project this nice guy on the outside when he's in disguise as Bruce, but his real face, real personality, is Batman. He could never hang the cape up and would probably rather he could just wear the cowl all the time and never stop pummelling badguys!

Actually I thing his body betraying him and his reflex to use a gun was a great way to show a reason to give it up. I just think Bruce would be with Catwoman...maybe Talia before Babs.

I agree on all counts. It was kind of a cool shock moment when he pulled the gun on the robber and I thought it was a great way fr him to decide to hang up his spurs. I just meant that it seemed his level of devotion to fighting crime, etc. would be so great that Barbara would get tired of it and not be able to cope. Selena Kyle or Talia would have no issue with it, although I suspect they'd keep trying to get him to dirty his hands

Maybe...but I thought they might mellow with age themselves and nurse his wounds...both physical and spiritual. All the time they spent both caring for him and trying to divert him from the mission.....he would finally not be able to do anything but. Even is Selena or Talia didn't live long after that...leaving Bruce more alone and bitter. At least that's how I would have wrote it.

That's actually a really intriguing concept: they finally get him from focusing solely on the mission and settle down, only to spend just a few short years in peace. Very interesting idea!
