Magnificent! Β Surprised we haven't seen one yet ... the suspicion was that the females are bigger if I remember right.

I'd still hit it, boobies are boobies, doesn't mater if they are cream color or outer skin kiwifruit color. As long they are firm and healthy, I'm game.

Oddly if its the "Hish" version, they're hermaphrodites.
if its the "Yautja" version they have males and females with recognizable human like traits.

I don't know a lot about the species beyond the movies....so I'll take your word for it

it all depends on who's writing for them. The movies keep them vague (which is good as they're horror movies first and sci-fi second), kind of takes away from the "we're being hunted by a mysterious killer" flow to have a sit down discussing their culture.
in the DC comics cross-overs they called them Hish, made them hermaphrodites with little to no dimorphism.
while over at Dark Horse they've jumped around a little between writers. The Novels gave them genders, explored their background, and were partially what the AvP movie was trying to be, but not really.
-that would be this series
vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/aβ¦
What they breathe, eat, what the dreadlocks are (not kidding, we have "hair, fleshy tendrils, and cybernetic sensors* as three different versions between writers. Heck we have one comic that said they were descended from prehistoric animals from Earth.
Basically the movies keep it so open that anyone with a license to write for them has been able to do almost whatever they want with them (short of changing their whole hunting thing). Although the new Dark Horse timeline is intentionally keeping them vague as its meant to tie intoΒ a new focused continuity.

I have a few of the very early Dark Horse predator and Aliens books. The ones that introduce the AVP idea....which sadly they made into movies.

yeah they didn't translate the concept very well.
might have helped if they didn't also try to mix in Star Gate (Chariots of the Gods trope) and kept it an in the future all three races butt heads on another world.
-although I had to laugh at Ridley and Cameron's remarks about the movie, implying they were completely unaware the concept of Aliens vs Predator had been around for decades (as well as vs virtually everything else).
and Dark Horse has now brought them back...and mixed in Prometheus..but also revived the "vs whatever" earlier this year they had Aliens vs Vampirella.

I'll take the female predator over female Vader, less likely to have body burns and need to have a breathing machine attached to chest.

Fun fact: in the extended universe (no movie official sources) the females of the species are actually much stronger than the males *described as the average female being on par with a fully armed and trained elite of the males*. even able to seriously hurt the males accidently.
