Hmmm, Isnt that overpowered? To make the character interesting he either has to have a decent weakness or villains that stand a chance.

He is built within the limits of the Champions RPG and most characters have 150 points of disads...that give them vulnerability and such as to not make them untouchable

It's not a series.....it's a Dice and Paper Role Playing game. I briefly worked for them designing super heroes

im obviously a Spider-man fan. The concept of having the proportionate speed of a spider has always intrigued me.

I've always liked the human or near human heroes that take oin the bigger threat and use their skill, intelligence and luck to win

I like Spider-man for being a well balanced character in powers based off a real life animal and because he's relatable. He's powerful but not that powerful that he's only streetlevel which makes him more interesting against the odds stacked against him when he fights Hulk or Thor level opponents.

The Common house Spider can run at 33 times its body length in one second. The giant house spider has speeds that vary from 40 to 48 times its body length per second. Spider-man is 5foot 10inches tall so that means he could run at any of these speeds which are 130mph, 160mph, 190mph. Pretty impressive speed for a non speedster(then again its BORDERLINE speedster or low level speedster, depending on how you look at it)

Don't think they have ever had Spiderman use speedster powers....but it would be something another spider person could use as their shtickΒ

He's used his speed plenty of times in the comics(the cartoons and movies not so much). He's dodged bullets, moved so fast the human eye cant keep up with him(its kinda like a flash step where he disappears from your sight in a blur that it almost looks like short distance teleportation) He's hit bad guys with punchesΒ faster than a machine gun and describes himself being like a freeze frame on a VCR where he's 10 steps ahead of every one else.
