Songbird is one of my favorite characters. I absolutely love her. You have captured her beauty beautifully. ;-p

Great drawing.Β I still remember reading #1 of The Thunderbolts a long time ago and being wowed that Kurt Busiek was able to turn a D-list baddie into a great character.Β It was talent like this that made him my favorite writer for a long time though sadly he has really slowed down these years.

Busiek was everywhere in the 90's.Β Untold Tales of Spider-Man (my favorite), Avengers, Ironman, Thunderbolts, and all the comics he did for IMAGE like Astro City, Shadowhawk, and Regulators.Β Nowadays I think City is the only book he's doing.Β The last mainstream comic he did was Superman for a year right after Infinite Crisis.Β But if there was any man who earned the right to rest on his laurels, it's him.

JSC must NEVER be allowed to rest!Β The man made Gen13 a blast!Β Chain him to his desk and whip if he stops drawing!Β

Oh wow, I didn't even realize that.Β I own lots of comics he's done covers for in the last few years but when I try and think of comics where he was the principle artist, I can't think of any beyond Wildstorm being sold to DC.Β I can't believe I haven't noticed this, but you're right.Β He really doesn't draw comics anymore, just variant covers.Β At least Jim Lee still draws (I enjoyed his work on Suicide Squad Rebirth) and even Rob Liefield still does a comic here and there.Β At least Todd McFarland has the excuse of being so rich he doesn't need to draw anymore.

Yep.... even Adam Hughes now and again does a book...but he is paid more for a cover then a whole book

It always comes down to money.Β I had no idea cover artists can fetch a paycheck equal or greater than the main artist but it makes sense.Β I have bought books just because the cover caught my eye.Β Now that I think about it, even Frank Cho isn't immune to this.Β Except for Totally Awesome Hulk last year, I can't think of any other comic work he's done except for cover art.Β And he was recently fired at DC because of a Wonder Woman cover so maybe he'll get to do mainstream work again?

I have that Avengers tpb.Β Tony turned into a robot Janet van Dyne; though I need to check into this Shanna the She-Devil.Β I've heard of her but I don't think I have any books about her.Β Red Sonja was always more my cup of tea but I do enjoy Cho so I should give it a shot.

If I would compliment you on the colors of the hair and her lips. Red lipstick had always been my favorite to add on female characters. It's a bit old school but a lot of my OC's have them.

It's important to like what you make. It helps us all to move forward and do what we love. Which is making stories and art.
