Description As I play in the continuity of the BBC tv series I am often affected by things the Doctor has done...though I rarely meet him. But the destruction of Gallifrey and the loss of every Time Lord made us wonder...what happened to us. Well, currently we are in a parallel universe facing similar but alternate versions of well know enemies, and my TARDIS is full of Gallifreyan refugees, I struggle to survive and find a way back to our universe...

"In the climactic battle of the Time War, the halls of Gallifrey have been breached, the Absolute Time Barrier shattered and history splinters into billions of possibilities. One reality after another is spawned and destroyed, in the war with the Daleks. On the eve of the end of all things the Doctor makes a gamble to save reality. The Inspector attempts to save the world that has guarded time for eons. Can the two Time Lords put aside their past and save Time?

Thanks I rather proud of the Inspector.

What kind of TARDIS do you have? Mine's a T-93, far more advanced then the Doctor's T-40. But then again i work for the Time Lords (Sorta)

Cool. I personally don't see a need to regenerate my time lord because regeneration was first invented because William Hartnell's poor health. The. later on actors left to avoid typecasting. Because of that they had to make up reasons for the doctor to change.

Inspector97 In reply to TheRealT-ZER0 [2016-08-02 03:33:54 +0000 UTC]

Well regeneration is a trope of the show...and not all adventures end with you winning completely. I've had to face death to save the day and at least regeneration is there.

Plus it gives you the chance to explore other aspects of the same character

Well...never rush to regenerate, right? I miss my incarnations that met with a tragic end...but my current incarnation is still going strong.

I rather like this character you have, my TimeLord is called The Magister (mainly because I wanted something that sounded official). Your character reminds me of a mix between like the first three Doctors (at least in the fashion sense).

(Thought I'd drop a link to my Time Lord just to see what you think of his design).

My fav Doctor was Pertwee. So I'm a bit more of a fan of the older style Doctor. Don't get me wrong I love them all.

I will check the Magister out.

The 3rd is great, Though I mainly like him because he is the reason we got Sarah Jane as a companion lol. He did seem to have the coolest fashion sense back in the day.

He was unique and unlike later Doctor's had a choice in what his Doctor would be like and wear.

I always liked the way that Time Lords had titles rather than names - The Doctor, The Master, The Monk, The Rani and now here The Inspector - it makes them seem that much grander, not so much a character as a definitive concept that bestrides eras itself, while the definite article that must come with the name still distills all that sense of scale and potently seals it into a specific single person, making them genuiney powerful things to watch.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Inspector97 In reply to King-Robert-XII [2010-05-09 02:36:59 +0000 UTC]

I chose the handle of "Inspector" because it is a title. People can refer to a Doctor,an Officer, a Captain or an Inspector, so showing up on Earth and introducing ones self as The Inspector doesn't raise many eyebrows. It also gives him a bit of authority in any situation.

The Rani, The Valeyard and the Master obviously don't care about blending in and adopt many names when they do seek some anonymity.

I'm glad this concept isn't lost on you

I dont feel the Time War is something they should ever play out.
They should just leave it to "legend" and never show it, I feel

No. But there might be a feature film that brings the Doctors (McGann, Eccelson and Tennent) together for it. So I've heard

Them and many other time travlling types. But the big weapons used were reality bombs that destroyed entire existances. The destruction so epic it left only silence.

Inspector97 In reply to michiganj24 [2009-12-01 02:48:54 +0000 UTC]

Depends on the story. It was a TIME war after all

michiganj24 In reply to Inspector97 [2009-12-01 02:53:10 +0000 UTC]

Yeah but unless they do soemthing to break the time lock it woudl have to be the previous versions who could have been there as what he looks like now coudl not make it there but yeah something so momemntual that the Dr has to risk breaking the Time Lock and dooming the entire universe

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Inspector97 In reply to michiganj24 [2009-12-01 02:59:01 +0000 UTC]

Likely the movie would be of the Time War. Not returning to it. So with all the alternate timelines being created and destroyed any Doctor could be there. Perhaps that's even why the Daleks have even more fearsome abilities. Perhaps they are an alternate that proved even more dangerous for the Timelords.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

michiganj24 In reply to Inspector97 [2009-12-01 03:27:02 +0000 UTC]

Hmm oh so there were alternate timelines too ah ok then yeah cuz then the doc could have changed into a differnt version at a diff point of time

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Inspector97 In reply to michiganj24 [2009-12-01 03:27:57 +0000 UTC]
