really dig this! it uses the space, has a great sense of motion, and your eye really moves with it! you can very clearly tell what's happening. really well done!

They lost me when they wiped out Crisis On Infinite Earths, made everyone younger, hired Bob Harras + Rob Liefeld, changed WW's origin + Superman's origin (again) but not Batman's or Green Lantern's, introduced the asinine "it's been 5 years since..." timeline (which makes no sense)...the list goes on.

I'd always been a bit more of a fanΒ of Marvel at the time; Crisis and the various other ret-cons of the time just gave additional strength to my views.

When it comes to mainstream comics, I would say so. Don't get me wrong, there are a FEW (very few) good mainstream titles being published (thing is, they won't last long) + a lot of good Indy titles out there.

I had to choose between space in my home or comics......I've collected a long time and I could go on forever...but it just piles up.....so I felt it had to end someday and as the 52 thing started to happen in another crisis event I quit cold turkey

I feel you on that....a few of my friends have made the same decisions. I sold a good portion of my long boxes as well & the 52 debacle made me stop buying DC comics all together, which is disappointing since I was hoping they would get their shit straight, but ...nope.

That's true....same here. And that's the thing, most collectors today who are still "cracked out" on mainstream comics, are unable to see through the haze, to realize that they don't need to get every issue; Read & collect the stories YOU really like. Sad to say, most of what DC & Marvel publish today, is crap.
