though he goes by "Winston Groff"

Occupation: Student, Aspiring Pharmacologist, Delinquent

History: Young Winston is no stranger to TOOR's atrocities, despite of him living a relatively normal life. Living with his beloved grandmother, who would tell him how horrible TOOR was. How the city she used to live in was completely ravaged, how she managed to flee along with a baby Winston and a few survivors while rest of the townspeople were forced into slavery. His parents were associates of NEED (TOUGH's precursor, being a crime-fighting organization) back then, and they left Winston under the care of his grandmother. They then died together in the siege. This led Winston to becoming very hostile towards TOOR and anyone associated with it. He became very motivated to further enhance his knowledge and skills involving drugs (at least any substance he can get his hands on). Winston also engaged in petty theft and vandalism at times.
There was a time he once attempted to run into the nearby woods with some angry shopkepper in pursuit. It was a stormy night, and fell on a river while attempted to cross it. Winston could have drowned since he can't swim at all. Fortunately, Myrtle just happened to be nearby and quickly rescued him. The two eventualy became very close friends since then, especially when they discovered that they share a mutual hatred towards TOOR. Though he is a bit upset that Myrtle is firends with Sydney and Connie Thorndyke.

Bio: To most people, Winston appears to be rude and even a bit hostile, especially to strangers. His reputation of being quite the rebel further distanced him from the rest of the crowd. However, despite of his trust issues, he still opens up quite quickly to people who give time and some effort to befriend him, making him gullible towards his few friends. He often comes up with (sometimes) wild plans, being oblivious to how unrealistic most of them are. Winston has trouble controlling his impulses, making him take big risks that often land him in trouble. He is feircely protective and loyal towards his friends and family, but equally cold and ruthless towards anything that he considers his enemy. And apparently, TOOR happens to be his worst enemy, and is extremely hateful towards all of them, even if not all of TOOR are villains.
Winston have always wanted to become a clinical pharmacologist in the future (or at least a doctor). Other interests include: playing minesweeper, the theater, jelly beans and bicycles.
