Bio: A Cambridge Law student graduate, Thomas Sergio Santibañez is the son of Mexican immigrant Renato Santibañez and the late Julia Young, the younger surrogate brother to Angelica, ward to Corazon Saldana and the Grandson of Shipbuilder Alistair Young. Despite being raised by a loving family, Sergio always maintained a sense of dark premonition ever since he witnessed a mysterious shadow as a boy. On the day he went home to East Grinstead, he saved Marimar Aldama, the woman who would become his best friend and wife. Their happiness was destroyed following Marimar's arrest after being framed for theft and the murder of Marimar's grandparents in a mysterious arson fire that left Sergio as the sole survivor, who got sent to HMP Ford. There, he befriended a bank robber named Nigel Hyde, who was kidnapped along with him and taken to a Welsh compound, where Hyde died but Sergio survived but left amnestic. Taken to Bristol, he was taken in as a surrogate son by Dr. Leonidas Beaumont and Dr. Hope Aldama-Beaumont, the uncles of Marimar, now known as Belle Aldama, who was plotting revenge for her missing husband and her grandparents. Intially hostile to Sergio, Marimar slowly treated him along with her uncles and her father, Crown Prosecutor Gustavo Aldama. Sadly, Sergio's memory would be restored by Gustavo's murder at the Theater Royal. With his memory restored and with a seething rage, Sergio joined the Avon and Somerset police as Nigel Hyde, (taking on the name of his Ford cellmate as a tribute) an officer driven by a sense for justice and to protect and aid his beloved Marimar as they face off a series of misfortunes and enemies.
