For those who don't know this Mexican Telenovela: Marimar is a Mexican Telenovela about a rags to riches girl that seeks revenge against the family of her husband for her arrest and the murders of her grandparents.
About Amphibia: Amphibia is an American cartoon by Matt Braly and Disney about a girl and her friends who are transported to another world with anthropomorphic Amphibians as they struggle to adapt and go home.
How I would make it work: True Colors, the Amphibia season 2 finale is one of my favorite episodes of any show. It has many twists and turns, but my favorite is the revelation made by King Andrias about one of the characters. Imagine poor Marimar in her moment of triumph, only to be told the truth of her oldest friend and closest confidant, the revelation of a past he and her family always knew by a villain and leaving her devastated as her revenge becomes a civil war that overwhelms Britain and she's reviled by the world.
