Painted this last night... took me all night and about 2 hours this morning.

I think you have done a good representation of their album, but I'd really rather see you come up with your own designs...after copying something with this much skill, I think you would prosper at inventing new original versions of CD covers and whatnot

Thanks.. I would love to invent something new.. however I can't draw worth a shit.. like I have to have a picture in front of me to be able to draw it.. it's frustrating because I can see it in my head.. but can't get it to paper

im curious, what do you use the toothpicks for xD
And this is great, I have never seen the cover but this looks like it could be the real deal for an album, as in you did a great job, that im sure if i saw the real thing id like yours better!

I used the toothpicks for painting the tiny detail parts. I find it much easier to paint small detailed things with toothpicks rather than a paintbrush.... also because all my paint brushes are at home (currently at my moms house) so I had to use the ones she had... which are ones for little kids with water-colours paints I think

haha, thanks... I wasn't too fond of the red. The paint was more watery than the others so I had to paint like 3 or 4 layers
