I really need to mess around with my own brushes more, because you're making that pattern both distinct and unique every time you use it.

Little does the onlooker know that she's luring you to her giant pet koala dragon. How's that for a twist...

InspiredDragons In reply to Egon-Riker [2012-02-21 02:13:37 +0000 UTC]

Trick of it is, draw a pattern you like, or one that goes in context with the piece, then copy and paste in a row. That creates thee wallpaper.

OoOo, I see what ya did thar! Huhuhu XD

Egon-Riker In reply to InspiredDragons [2012-02-21 02:16:58 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I see. Yeah, the brush would spam the hell out of it. I'll try that after I'm done with Rhubarb and Afro Dragon. What that next will be...I have no idea.

InspiredDragons In reply to Egon-Riker [2012-02-21 02:36:05 +0000 UTC]

You can actually make a solid pattern brush, just make sure that in the brush options,
-Opacity is Max
-Spacing/stamping is very far apart
-0 Rotation.
and you has pattern brush.
I just tend not to use patterned brushes because I feel that I have more control with copy, drag and paste.
Though I still suggest trying both techniques, see which one you like.

Oh, okay. Is this with the Sketch book program or Photoshop? The brush option has something like that. For what you do, I think copy and past would be better, but I'll play around with both. The brush does wonders for organic textures though (on a small scale).

Any program I think, as-long as brush options are available.

Ooo yes.

In seriousness, I do like this and how she blends in with the vines.
