Description
Well... I finished my 3rd manip, although its not quite what I hoped for. Don't get me wrong, I am pleased with it but I was after a particular image for the soldiers thoughts. However, that may be with me shortly and I may yet revise this version.

Awesome...truly makes you think of all that soldiers give up for their country to defend it, and how we must pray for their safe return home...

This is lovely!
I have never seen a manip like it before
I love the contrast between the hard working soldeir
and the innocence the mother and child have
this work of art really hits me and makes me think
wonderful work

I really, really like this image. I like the theme and you have executed it masterfully. And I love that you used the poppies; both for what they have come to symbolize and for the fact that my great, great aunt was Moina Michael [link] .
Thanks.

Thanks very much for your comments... the information you linked was an interesting read and I can see why my piece had meaning to you. Its actually the first time I've learned the reason why the poppy is used as the symbol of remembrance, as they say.. you learn something new everyday.
