Starbacks are a unique species of pony who mostly live and like to life around rocky and warm climate areas like mountains, caves, hot springs and even underground.

Starsbacks are able to breed with any other species of pony, they can be born earth pony, unicorn, pegasus, bat, zebra and others yet they are never born to be alicorn. Even if they breed with one, the offspring will either be the a normal Alicorn or the species of Starback.

Starback are mostly endangered for their growing crystals on their back, mostly by dragons with their hungry for gemstones and crystals. -Their gems can only grow about an inch or two each month. It can be more depending on the species, earth Starbacks have about average four to five inches of crystal grown each month.

Crystal Starback ponies mostly stay in big packs and groups together with the oldest of them all being the leader, the longer the crystals are on their back, the older the Crystal Starback.

Commonly Crystal Starback ponies can be born without crystals at all, being called common Starbacks in their name.

Crystal Starback ponies have a slightly longer lifespan then normal ponies [About on average 60 to 125 years]

Starbacks can have any type of colour for their blood and tongue yet it is all one colour and stays one colour. If the Starback's tongue is blue, so will the blood yet the muscles of the species will remain more reddish natural in colour with a blur of its tongue and blood colour.

Starbacks mostly are quite curious and stuck up creatures, almost always sticking their nose into stuff that they shouldn't. Yet when it comes to puzzles and solving problems, their are extremely intelligent thinkers at it. Yet they lack common sense at the best of times, making things more problematic for them and possible others.

Crystal Starbacks and common Starbacks almost to always have quite curly and fancy made hair, them spending some of their time each day grooming and bathing themselves to make them clear and shiny. Taking good care of their condition, hair and coat always.

Crystals and/or gemstones on Starbacks can and are only based on real gemstones like Sapphires, Opals, Diamonds, Amethyst and much more.
