Description
Aivar's officially a young adult! To celebrate, I finished this sketch that has been sitting in my files since March 1. :]--
Aivar has killed the raven that he blamed for his crippled leg, but the voice still haunts him. The world is changing for Aivar. His thoughts are changing. His dreams are full of red skies and ravens, and sometimes he is one of them, holding a bone or an antler in his mouth as it drips with blood. As of late he has been waking with a heavy sense of dread resting on him. During the days his mind will wander back to the dreams, and he longs for the sense of freedom they give him. Of power.

Stunning work, and I absolutely LOVE the style here, so full of flair and energy, the lighting and composition frames Aivar perfectly and I simply love the reddish backlight on him.
Love how he looks more like a young adult here as you say, and the dramatic lighting and pose combined with the expression on his face give him a more sinister edge than before...
One of my favourite pieces of him so far!
