Not really futuristic imho, since it is from the first Windows ever, but yes, the Windows 1.0 logo does look beautiful and nice, they complicated it too much.

I think it does; if you've ever seen the TV show "BATMAN BEYOND", then you'd see how the slanted/cut-off style is of various items, such as cars, buildings, etc...
