Description I walk in circles
Commencing from a point
I eventually return to, pointless

I start with the resolve of a ‘do’
Proceeding from ‘do’ to ‘re’ and from ‘re’ to ‘mi’, unhindered
Its here, where the drop is, between ‘mi’ and ‘fa’

My mood drops

The ‘mi’ looks unresolved
And in walk my unintended selves
Who shall rejoice this recede
And glide me back from where I began,
Unhindered

Now, I shall wait for yet another impression
A fresh ‘do’ to make me walk again
Commencing from a point where
I shall eventually return to pointless.

I shall continue to walk in circles.

I need a conscious SHOCK
To fill this gap between ‘mi’ and ‘fa’
To STOP this drop, the retardation
On this evolutionary path.

With the advent of the WILL
Result of repeated conscious SHOCKS
I shall float in rhythm without any deviation
On this pathless path of evolution.

Wonderful poem. Conscious shock... To ACT and not REACT. Indeed true.

Glad I've developed the habit of letting other people do the screening process for me (picked your ID off severinns page).

This, is excellent...

Combines so many things, that are still quite similar.

And, I'd babble on (seeing as it's... 1.30am... about the time when I start to grow stupid from being awake), but I'll refrain.

A fav, and a watch.

Thanks.Well, reaching someone's mind is altogether different than reaching some one's ear.Though that too is difficult. hahahah

Most people prefer to be heard, rather than to hear.

I prefer to keep my mouth shut untill I have something worth being heard.

Less embarassing that way.

'comunication' is an exercise where we try to reach some one's mind. Its just now external blah blah. Thanks.

Sometimes I have to wonder... Is reaching their mind even worth it?

The hermit approach to life has a great deal of appeal... At least for me.

You're welcome.

You are right. I dont think one can ever'communicate' with the ANT COLONY. But well there are potential ANTS. hahahaah But you can only reach when thet are receptive.

True.

Just wish more people were receptive more often.

While living in your own private world is fine on occasion, everyone in theirs... all the time... Not so good.

And, often enough, other people's dreams, because they don't even bother to find their own.

Sadly, such is the case with most of the population, adults and children.

Moreover, during the most crucial point in a child's developement, there's little to help them (quite the contrary) define themselves as an independant individual.

Too much protection can be as fatal as too little.

Yes, formatory age is very important and our training is defective. All our centers, namely, intellectual, emotional, mechanical and intutive should be trained equally. This is the reason people normally think emotionally and feel intellectually. hahahahaha And they don't know how to 'sense'. Instead of sensing they think.

Think emotionally and feel intellectually?

Haha, very true. Hadn't thought of it that way before, but you're right on that.

Very little true logic behind people's actions, mostly impulse or excuse.

Severinn has desiphered this poem perfectly. Your drawing is interesting, that you continued to write outside the circle. This to me seems like a break into conscious shock. Very enjoyable, as always.

Severinn [2004-12-19 01:44:32 +0000 UTC]

yesyesyes! I first discovered this I think, when I learned some years ago that I was caught in a feedback cycle between thoughts and emotions (I was depressed and suicidal at the time). Thoughts caused emotions which caused more thoughts etc etc. I realized that neither thoughts nor their chemical form--emotions--then, could resolve this matter (later I would realize this is also in part because thoughts involve past and future--time and cause/effect, rather than BEing in the Now). So the cycle had to be interrupted by something--the force of consciousness itself, that was subject to neither past nor future, cause nor effect. The WILL of action, not reaction.

You got it all right. We all react to external stimuli's. Just refuse to react. Even when you want to, stop, turn this reaction into an action, by making it intentionally and not mechanical. Thanks friend.

Severinn In reply to intendedself [2004-12-19 05:14:20 +0000 UTC]

strangely there is a prevailing attitude in this world that only reaction, and not action, are real. People ask me how I can have emotions if I am in total control. They think my anger--when it is chosen, and not a reaction--is not real. They think my joy is fake, because it is a choice, and not a helpless coincidence of circumstance. They think it is unhealthy to be willfull. So strange.

intendedself In reply to Severinn [2004-12-19 05:30:01 +0000 UTC]

Well, you know people ( the ANTS) advocate naturalness. what they mean is reacting as our natural instinct makes us react. They are unaware that its either our genetics ( essence) or those suggestions which got deeply rooted within makes us react the way we do. I think they should stop calling them self conscious being. We must ACT rathe then be carried away by those natural reactions.
