I remember reading a passage from Rothko,
it was about painting every blade of grass as supposed to suggesting sections of grass in detail,that way,the eyes are fooled into thinking that every blade of grass has been created.Abstraction mixed with realism is an old technique and masterful.
But Rothko questioned the illusion,He stated that Giotto painted every blade,thus making the whole effect abstract and more truthful but either way,he agreed.I look at your beautiful drawing and again Durer comes to mind.

Do you realise that all of your pictures would make great paintings and drawings?,they Β can be used as a sketch,an idea,a base to build upon,so if you ever find it difficult to think of something,the pictures are already there for you.

i might do a digital drawing using them.......feetism!
i fell down the stairs a few years ago and all my weight went on my toe whilst it was in tip toe position and the bloody thing has never been the same since!
